Flush the chemical out of the lines using water. We check the water’s pH balance using litmus paper to ensure no cleaning solution remains in the lines.
Fill lines with either Acid or Caustic solution (depending on the cleaning cycle) and allow it to sit in the lines for 20 minutes.
After this process, we reconnect the kegs, make sure the beer is pouring properly, clean our work area, and depart.
Our Contract Clean Team services all beer lines regardless of brand or distributor, ensuring all lines are cleaned and flushed together on a consistent schedule. The team also uses recirculating pumps, delivering a deeper, more thorough clean. Steps include:
✓ Fill lines with either Acid or Caustic solution (depending on the cycle) using a recirculating pump for 15 minutes.
✓ During this period our line cleaners disassemble and clean faucets, FOBS (quarterly), and keg couplers.
✓ Flush chemical out of the lines with water, using a recirculating pump. Then check water’s pH balance with litmus paper to ensure no cleaning solution remains.
✓ After this process, we reconnect the kegs, make sure the beer is pouring properly, and clean the work area.

Every line cleaning team is randomly spot checked at a minimum 6 times per month at various accounts on the day of cleaning to ensure:
✓ Faucets and couplers are being thoroughly cleaned
✓ Maintenance issues are addressed
✓ Brewery and distributor tags are being left on faucets
✓ Work areas are left clean
✓ Establishment’s staff and management is satisfied
